Oak Forest Tennis Club

The new Oak Forest Tennis Club (OFTC) empowers elementary school students seeking to compete in matches against other elementary school teams and in USTA tournaments. The OFTC team is for players seeking intense competition & tournament-level exposure. These intermediate-level players (Ages 7-10) intend to compete in Orange Ball-level tournaments. 

Overview:
Participating students are from  3rd to 5th grade from the local community. The OFTC leaders will schedule competitive matches in accordance with the USTA's orange ball guidelines.

Before each match, the OFTC team will practice at Frank Black Middle School's two Orange Ball courts, where most competitive matches will be held.
Club membership is $25 per semester and includes team jerseys, tennis balls, and coaching fees.

Tournament Schedule

  • The Clay Court Team Challenge will be held at the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship on March 29, 2026, at the River Oaks Country Club in Houston, TX. An entry fee of $75 per team is required.
  • Other elementary school matches will be scheduled.
