Igniting Houston's Passion For Tennis
Discover how Space City Tennis provides lifelong experiences for the next generation of student-athletes in Texas.
Mission
Space City Tennis, LLC (SCT) is a mission-driven tennis organization dedicated to empowering elementary, middle, and high school students attending Title I, Part A schools in Houston. During 2026, SCT served over 170 students with the technical skills, strategic knowledge, on-court confidence, and sportsmanship needed to compete at the highest levels of tennis and succeed in life.
Through our non-profit, low-cost business model, we offer a range of tennis programs tailored to developing and advanced junior players, fostering the essential skills required to excel at any level. SCT believes a family's budget should never limit a student-athlete's participation in tennis.
The Frank Black Middle School (FBMS) Racquet Center reopened on August 1, 2026. Reserve a pickleball or tennis court by utilizing the USTA scheduling system. New for 2026, SCT is offering weekday programs, including women's tennis and pickleball clinics and team practices!
