Tennis Tournaments

Space City Tennis organizes tournaments designed to showcase student development in a highly competitive, yet sportsmanship-focused environment. Space City tournaments are open to participants of all ages, and community service hours are suggested to waive the $15 entry fee.

School Tournaments

Frank Black Middle School's club tennis team will coordinate matches with other schools throughout the 2026-2027 season. Doubles tournaments for HISD students are scheduled in the fall and spring seasons.

USTA

USTA hosts Orange, Green, and Yellow Ball tournaments throughout the year. The 2026 tournaments are available here. A subset of local USTA tournaments in Houston is available here. Learn about UTR ratings and see the updated scores here.

On August 8, 2026, a USTA Orange Ball singles and doubles tournament will be held at Frank Black Middle School. The event entrance fee is $15.

In September 2026, a USTA Green Ball singles and doubles tournament will be held at Frank Black Middle School. The event entrance fee is $15.

Houston Tennis Association

HTA hosts several local tournaments throughout the year. Tournaments can be found here. USTA Junior Circuit: HTA, Junior Grand Prix Orange/Green tournaments are scheduled for 2026.

ATP/WTA Pro Tournaments

ATX Open

The ATX Open is a WTA 250 event, one of the women's tour-level tournaments in the USA. The ATX Open brings the world's best players to Austin for February 20–28, 2027.

Austin 125

The Austin125 is the highly anticipated event, part of the Hologic WTA women's professional tour on March 8–13, 2027, and will feature exceptional talent across a singles draw of 32 players and a doubles draw of 8 teams.

Dallas Open

The Dallas Open held at the Ford Center at The Star, Frisco, Texas, from February 8–15, 2027, is the only ATP Tour indoor championship in the USA and features the world's top men's tennis players in singles and doubles competition.

U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships

The U.S. Men's Clay Court Championships will be held on March 27 – April 4, 2027, at River Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas, will host the event. Orange and Green ball doubles events are held in late March 2027.
