Frank Black Middle School Club Tennis

FBMS Spring 2026 District Champs!

The Frank Black Middle School (FBMS) Tennis Team enjoyed an exciting 2026 Spring season! An expanded practice schedule before classes at 7 AM offered competitive and developmental student-athletes more opportunities to play matches and improve strokes and tactics. Open-Play Fridays, and Saturday-morning doubles clinics round out each week.

Building on the success of our Fall 2025 tournament schedule, the Spring 2026 matches featured top-ranked middle schools across Houston. The highlight of the 2026 season was FBMS's competitive team going undefeated and winning the district championship.

All 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Panthers can join our rapidly growing program and take advantage of four courts—two newly refurbished full-size tennis courts and two orange-ball courts for elementary school students—conveniently located on the north side of FBMS's campus. These state-of-the-art facilities are made possible by the incredible generosity of our community during the 2025 fundraiser and private donations.
