The Frank Black Middle School tennis team and coaches are ready for the 2026 Spring season!

Panthers in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade are invited to join this expanding program, which now has access to two refurbished tennis courts and two orange-ball courts on the north side of the campus.

When: Beginning on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, the competitive team will meet at 7 am to review the Spring 2026 schedule.

And on Monday, March 2, 2026, the introductory program will be available to all FBMS students.

Additionally, beginning on February 7, 2026, a doubles clinic open to all FBMS tennis players will be held each Saturday at 7:30 am.

What: The introductory program will follow a ten-week curriculum, while the competitive team will focus on refining strategies and tactics for match-play.

Team assignments: Participation on the competitive team is based upon Universal Tennis Rating ranking.

USTA tournament results, and other competitive matches. All team assignment questions should be directed to Coach Charles at 940-337-5400. 

Matches: Coach Charles and Booster Club leader Carrie Brawley will post the dual meets against other middle schools and the tournament schedule for the Spring season.
