Waltrip High School

Space City Tennis hosts various tennis programs and events at Waltrip High School, located at 1900 W 34th St, Houston, TX 77018.

• Waltrip is a host location for middle school matches and tournaments. When combined with Frank Black Middle School's tennis courts one mile away, this facility can accommodate a broad range of events. 
• Saturday morning doubles clinics start at 7:30 am and are free sessions open to the tennis community. Next-Gen tennis coaches lead drills to sharpen doubles skills, followed by round robin matches, focusing on strategies that maximize teamwork and offensive tactics.
• Sunday morning high-level clinics start at 7:30 am and are for advanced players preparing for USTA L7 and above competition. Experienced coaches lead round-robin singles and doubles matches, focusing on specific tactics, such as the serve-and-volley approach. Additionally, coaches lead serving drills that emphasize each player's Probability of Winning Serve percentage.
