HISD Middle School Doubles Tournament

Space City Tennis is hosting a HISD doubles tournament on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at various tennis facilities. This one-day event begins at 8:00 a.m. Boys' and girls' doubles teams will compete at FBMS, Waltrip High School, and The Heights High School, in a format similar to the U.S. Open doubles. Trophies will be presented to the winners.

The entry fee for this tournament is one hour of community service or $15.

• Locations: FBMS (girls), Waltrip HS (boys).
• Start Time will be at 8:00 am. Courts will open at 6:45 for warm-up.
• All teams must check in at the tournament desk by 7:45 am. Make sure you are in the desk area to hear your next match called
•  Format 6-game set, no ad scoring
• Line calls are made by the team where the ball landed. If there is a disputed line call, request the umpire
• Once the game is finished, shake hands, and the winner returns the balls to the tournament desk and reports the score.
