The OFTC is for players seeking Orange Ball-level competition, up to USTA L5-level tournamentsWhether playing singles or doubles matches, OFTC players bring a winner's attitude to the court!

Overview

Under the guidance of Space City Tennis Next-Gen coaches, Oak Forest Tennis Club (OFTC) leaders coordinate USTA competitive matches and practices in alignment with HISD tennis schedules.

Before each match, OFTC leaders organize dedicated team practices and on-site warm-up sessions on the day of the tournament, while remaining courtside to provide real-time insights on match tactics.

In addition, each player prepares a personalized nutrition plan and conducts a thorough equipment check, covering appropriate clothing, footwear, racquets, and supplies such as grip tape.

Most importantly, OFTC ensures every player develops a comprehensive strategic plan with clearly defined short- and long-term goals, fostering a winning mindset grounded in disciplined preparation. Furthermore, OFTC teammates attend matches to provide enthusiastic, positive support throughout the competition.
