1. Standard Set Tiebreak (7-Point Tiebreak)
This is the most common way to decide a set when the score reaches 6-6.
- Played as the 13th game of the set.
- First player/team to win 7 points, leading by at least 2 points, wins the tiebreak (and thus the set, e.g., 7-6).
- Scoring: Points are called out as 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. (not love/15/30/40). "Zero" or "love" can be used for 0.
- Serving order:
- The player whose turn it is to serve starts serving the first point (from the right court, as in a normal game).
- After the first point, serve alternates every 2 points
- Change of ends:Players change every 6 points
- If the tiebreak reaches 6-6, it continues until one leads by 2 (e.g., 8-6, 9-7, 10-8, etc.).
2. Match Tiebreak (Super Tiebreak or 10-Point Tiebreak)
- Played when the match is tied 1 set all (or as the third "set").
- First to 10 points, leading by at least 2 points, wins the match.
- Serving and end-change rules are the same as the standard 7-point tiebreak (first server serves 1 point, then alternate every 2 points
