Principal De Castro kicked off the evening with a moving story from his own basketball days, reminding everyone that the real victories happen in the lessons we carry off the court. With that spirit, the spotlight turned to our brand-new tennis program and its first-ever awards celebration.

Coaches Castelline, Charles, and Koko took the stage to honor every member of the Fall 2025 tennis team. Six standout individual awards were presented, followed by team certificates, celebrating every player’s growth over the ten-week season, and two tournaments. Coach Koko shared inspiring stories of teamwork, from clutch doubles partnerships to the way the team had each other’s backs through every early-morning practice.

And those memories weren’t made on the court alone. Parents and players rolled up their sleeves together: sunrise breakfasts on tournament days, planting new bushes around the courts, hanging wind screens, and assembling picnic tables that turned our tennis area into a true home.

As the ceremony closed, Coach Charles and two booster club leaders, Carrie Brawly and Augustina Wojecki, were already planning practices and competitive match schedules for the Spring 2026 season.
